The operation was started after Yomiko Readman lost her copy of a book that contained the Suicide Symphony.
Joseph Carpenter took her and the books she stole from the I-Jin to the Special Operations Division for analysis.
After learning of the I-Jin's identity Yomika was sent to recover the second copy. Mr. Gentleman told Yokima that her payment would be the usual price plus both volumes of Immortal Beloved.
