The Uchū Show (The Space Show) is an upcoming theatrical movie by the creative team of the Read or Die OVA and R.O.D the TV. Produced by A-1 Pictures Inc., the movie is to be directed by Koji Masunari, written by Hideyuki Kurata with character designs by Masashi Ishihama.
According to the producers, the story will begin in the countryside during the summer vacation of fifth grader Natsuki Oyama. Natsuki and four of her schoolmates embark on an adventure together that will take them beyond the fields they call home. The story is to "surpass Star Wars in its scale."
